Chiropractors

Chiropractic treatment is based on the theory that disease is caused by abnormal function of the nervous system.

A chiropractor attempts to restore normal function by manipulation and treatment of the structures of the body, especially those of the spinal column.

Since June 2001 the title of 'chiropractor' has been protected by law and it is a criminal offence to describe oneself as any sort of chiropractor without being registered with the The General Chiropractic Council.
